  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch Provides extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice The magic ingredient!
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey You can also use maple syrup.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss in the chicken wings to coat.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, blend pineapple juice, soy sauce, and honey until mixed.

Frying the Wings

  • Heat about 2 inches of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat (around 350°F).
  • Fry the wings in batches until golden brown and crispy, around 10-12 minutes per batch.
  • Avoid crowding the pan.

Tossing & Serving

  • Once cooked, toss the wings in the pineapple sauce until well-coated.
  • Serve on a plate, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

Let wings rest after frying for extra crispiness. For a healthier option, you can bake the wings at 400°F for about 40-45 minutes.
