Ingredients
  

Dumplings

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Filling of your choice (vegetables or meat) Ensure the filling is prepped and seasoned.

Peanut Sauce

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Water to thin as needed Add gradually until desired consistency is reached.

Instructions
 

Make the Dough

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in warm water until a soft dough forms. Knead it for a minute until smooth.

Prepare the Filling

  • Prep and season your chosen filling, sautéing garlic and ginger for added flavor if desired.

Assemble the Dumplings

  • Roll out the dough into small circles (about 3 inches in diameter). Place a spoonful of filling in the center and fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges to seal.

Bake the Dumplings

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the dumplings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them lightly with oil and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Make the Peanut Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic. Gradually add water until desired consistency is reached.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve the baked dumplings drizzled with peanut sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

If you’re feeling adventurous, try adding spices to the dough for an extra kick–maybe a pinch of chili powder or garlic powder.
