Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup unsalted butter A significant amount for an extra rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce Adjust to spice preference.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Fresh if possible.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 loaf good crusty bread Essential for soaking up the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in the garlic, Cajun seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Serve the Louisiana BBQ shrimp immediately with the crusty bread on the side.

Notes

Don't rush cooking the garlic to enhance its flavor. Leftovers can be used in pasta salad or scrambled eggs. For a protein alternative, chicken can also be used.
