  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Gravy

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Sprinkle in the cornstarch, stir, then slowly pour in the beef broth and soy sauce while whisking until thickened.
  • Return the patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and let simmer for about 5 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot, optionally garnishing with fresh parsley.
