Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

For the Squid

  • 1 pound squid, cleaned and cut into rings

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Fire up your grill or heat a grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the squid rings to the marinade and toss until coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the squid on the grill or grill pan, ensuring they're spaced evenly.
  • Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and have grill marks.
  • Once off the grill, toss the squid with chopped parsley.

Serving

  • Plate the grilled squid with lemon wedges on the side.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the squid just before serving.

Notes

Keep an eye on the cooking time to prevent overcooking the squid, as it can become chewy. You can also add cherry tomatoes or grilled zucchini for extra flair. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
