  • 1 cup powdered sugar For sweetness
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips Use semi-sweet for classic flavor

  • 1 cup almond flour Or regular flour if preferred

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry preserves, powdered sugar, and almond flour until a sticky mixture forms.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.

Chocolate Coating

  • Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in short intervals of 30 seconds and stirring in between.
  • Roll the chilled cherry mixture into bite-sized balls, aiming for about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a fork and let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.

Setting and Serving

  • Place the chocolate-covered truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • If desired, dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder for an aesthetic touch.
  • Chill the truffles in the fridge for another 30 minutes to let them set before serving.
