Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients needed to prepare the cake

For the Toppings

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 jar caramel sauce approx. 12 oz
  • 1 container whipped topping 8 oz
  • 4-6 bars crushed Heath bars or your favorite chocolate bars for extra crunch

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix with the necessary ingredients as per the box instructions and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a well-greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  • Let the cake cool and soak for an hour, then spread whipped topping over the cake.
  • Top off with crushed Heath bars and refrigerate for a few hours (or overnight).

Notes

Feel free to use a different flavor of cake mix if chocolate isn't your preference! If you don't have Heath bars, any chocolate candy or crushed nuts can be used instead.
