  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 pieces lemons (juice and zest)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, combine melted butter, the juice and zest of two lemons, and minced garlic. Stir well.
  • Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the chicken.

Cooking

  • Slide the dish into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F (75°C).
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes

For a quicker option, use chicken thighs instead of breasts. If you don't have fresh lemons, bottled lemon juice can be a substitute. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
